Capital City Comic Con is organized and executed by the Capital City Comic Enthusiasts Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to uniting super fans on all things pop culture.
This society is a collaboration between three local, not-for-profit organizations: Destination Greater Victoria, Downtown Victoria Business Association and The National Toy Museum of Canada represented by Cherry Bomb Toys.
Capital City Comic Con welcomes over 9,500 pop culture fans every year to show off their cosplay costumes and take part in panels, workshops, games and so much more! With over 2,000 minutes of programming, there is something for everyone!
Capital City Comic Con is spread over two awesome venues: Victoria Conference Centre and Crystal Garden.
Friday: 3pm – 9pm
Saturday: 10am – 6pm
Sunday: 10am – 5pm
Capital City Comic Con is fun, family-friendly event and the majority of the convention is for all-ages. Any 19+ events will be clearly identified as such.

We want to make sure everyone can easily move around the convention areas. The following items are not permitted on the showroom floors: Large strollers (umbrella or similarly sized strollers are permitted), handcarts & trolleys, large cosplay wings spanning wider than 4’ from wingtip to wingtip, and rolling luggage larger than 22” L x 14” W x 9” H.
Yes, there is a coat/bag check at Capital City Comic Con. It is located in the Lower Pavilion in the Victoria Conference Centre. It is $2 per item and all items must be picked up by the end of each day.
No items can be left overnight. Capital City Comic Con staff are not responsible for lost or missing items.
Certified service animals are the only animals permitted.

Tickets are available for purchase in advance, as well as on the days of the event if they event has not sold out. Tickets purchased on-site at Capital City Comic Con will be subject to a $5 price increase. Capital City Comic Con is free for children aged 5 and under.
Tickets are not able to be exchanged or sold.
If you are an Adult 3-Day VIP pass holder and interested in bringing a child(ren), please purchase the Child 3 Day Pass when our passes are available for purchase. Children will be able to accompany VIP Pass holders into VIP line-ups.

Yes, you will be able to get back in with your event wristband. For 3-day pass holders (not applicable to 3-day VIP pass holders), wristbands must remain on wrist for full three days of convention for re-entry. Please be prepared to flash your wristband upon entry/re-entry into the convention.

The Victoria Conference Centre and Crystal Garden are equipped with ramps, elevators, automatic doors and wheelchair accessible washrooms. Please visit the Victoria Conference Centre’s website for more detailed information on accessibility, as well as maps of both venues with relevant accessibility points clearly marked.

We will be checking weapons at the event at the Cosplay Weapon’s Checkpoint. Please keep in mind that Capital City Comic Con is a family-oriented show and we want to make sure everyone has a safe time at the event.
No illegal weapons will be permitted at the event. If it is sharp and pointy, please leave it at home.
