Come play some amazing board games at CapCity courtesy of Red Dragon Dice! Red Dragon Dice was founded in October 2017 by Susie Dancer, who has a huge passion for board gaming and for dice. She has been demoing and playtesting games for even longer. Visit Red Dragon Dice’s booth at the convention to sign out a game to play and check out her wares!
The 405th Infantry Division promotes the development of artistic skills and the honing of artistic talent through the creation of Halo® costumes and props. They accomplish this by providing makers and cosplayers a global community in which they can share their knowledge and experience, which in turn nurtures and sustains their passion for the Halo® universe.
Starting out in 2007 as a community message board, the 405th has accumulated over 30,000 members worldwide and is the premier location to learn how to build high quality hard armor cosplay at home with little to no professional equipment. It is entirely volunteer run. They now have multiple social media outlets for communication that are very active, including: their main forum, Facebook group and Discord. As well as their newest venture into the streaming world of Twitch TV! Where they host community game nights, community crafting nights and various Halo related entertainment for charity events online.
We are excited to welcome The Company of the Blue Dragons at our upcoming convention! An official Buhurt team under Medieval Combat Canada, Company of the Blue Dragons proudly represent the country at various international events in the sport.
Founded in Duncan, BC in 2017 by Lucas Mendes, Team Captain, the team started off as just a few fighters driven by passion for medieval battles. It slowly evolved into a full-contact combat team with the development of visionary and motivated fighters who were willing to partake in the birth and evolution of the sport of Buhurt.
UPDATE: Company of the Blue Dragon will be at the con Saturday and Sunday only.
Have you ever wanted to actually meet Darth Vader? A Jedi? Maybe a Jawa? All of these wonderful characters and more could be there for you to join in an immersive Photo Experience you have to see to believe! All photos are by donation, and the proceeds go to Story Studio.

Ever wanted to battle a Stormtrooper? How about just blast one? We guarantee that even if they shot back (which they won’t) they wouldn’t hit you! Come to the Galactic Experience zone to join in the fun. Always a big hit, and all proceeds are donated to Story Studio.

Come to the Galactic Fan Experience and get yourself a droid companion! It is your job to protect your droid badge, but if any of our costumed members find you – you may lose it! Imperials will confiscate it, Rebels will rescue it, and the Mercs? You never know who they are working for. Don’t worry, we will trade you for a ticket to a prize draw at the end of the day. This is a free activity for all ages, and you can keep coming back for more droid badges to protect!

One of the most random things to come out of the Star Wars movies is the deep and abiding love for a man named Willrow Hood. He is infamous for being the Rebel in Cloud City who saved the…ice cream? Starting at the Galactic Fan Experience booth, the Hoods will run the con, chanting their love for the creamy treat! So if you see some random Rebels running around banging on ice cream makers feel free to join in and help Save the ICE CREAM!

The Ghostbusters of BC are a nonprofit charity cosplay group that raise money for the BC Children’s Hospital. Their group organized in the fall of 2010 after prospects met with Dr. Raymond Stantz. They are your professional paranormal investigators and eliminators of the Best Place on Earth, British Columbia. The Ghostbusters of BC can be found at local comic con’s and charity events throughout the lower mainland and Vancouver Island. They are ready to believe you!
The Fictionals are back in action with their Boom! Pow! Comic Book Comedy Show at Capital City Comic Con 2022! From Ant-Man to Wonder Woman and all your favourite Hollywood blockbusters, the comedians will be inspired by your super suggestions to create new adventures in front of your very eyes! Plus you’ll get a chance to join the fun onstage and possibly win some great prizes too. Excelsior!

The Barony of Seagirt is a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) located in Victoria, British Columbia. They are a non-profit educational group that seeks to learn about pre-17th century history. They do so by creating the persona of a person that could have lived at that time and participating in a variety of period activities such as dance, arts and sciences, medieval games, warfare, archery, cooking, and more. Swing by their booth inside Crystal Garden or catch them outside the VCC Saturday on the VCC Courtyard listfield!
Dressing up in cosplay at Capital City Comic Con? Did something happen to your cosplay and you need help repairing it at the event? Julie Jensen Custom Costumes makes custom clothing for all kinds of genres like anime, manga, sci-fi, steampunk, comic book as well as special occasions. Her items are finished with a particular eye to detail and authenticity. Custom embroidery is also available on garments or as a separate commission. At the con they will provide repairs to garments and wigs as well as styling fixes for the wigs. Repairs range from free to a fee, depending on the amount of work that is involved.
Conventions are fantastic, but we know they can also be overwhelming.
